Belinda graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2003. She has been employed as a Social Worker and Rehabilitation Coordinator specialising in acquired disability since graduation. Belinda has worked across the continuum of care in health care settings including; acute neurosurgical inpatient wards, inpatient rehabilitation units, outpatient rehabilitation day hospital and with the Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Service (ABIOS). In 2013 Belinda moved into the private sector as a Social Worker and Case Manager for Rehability Australia, specialising in acquired disability, complex rehabilitation and catastrophic injury management. Belinda has been a Registered Provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) since 2017 and is a current member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Belinda is passionate about working with individuals and their families in the disability sector, within her case management framework Belinda employs a person-centered approach. Belinda continues to develop her knowledge and skills in this area and is currently undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Case Management at Griffith University.  Belinda also holds a Secretary position on the Riding for the Disabled Association of Tasmania Management Board.
