Sharon has over 20 years’ experience within the human service sector specialising in health and disability. She has demonstrated her ability to apply this knowledge in her clinical practice. A practice that provides high-quality person-centred support.
Sharon developed a career in disability as a support worker supporting people with a range of varying disabilities in their homes and communities. She fostered a compassionate and trusting relationship with her clients and through this developed a desire to help with their health needs as well.
As a Registered Nurse, Sharon has spent the last five years providing compassionate care and collaborating with her patients and their families in palliative care. This has been a huge privileged to walk this journey with my patients and their families.
Sharon has clinical experience working with people from all walks of life in a variety of complex care setting including palliative, medical, secure aged care facilities, and mental health. She has demonstrated a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care and understands how to implement clinical governance frameworks and now brings this to her support coordination role.
Sharon will continue to leverage her nursing expertise to assess individual needs, develop tailored NDIS support plans, and coordinate a network of services to enhance clients' quality of life. She excels in to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
