Katina is currently in a first-year social work graduate position with Rehability Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree with distinction at Queensland University of Technology in 2023. Katina completed her university placements at the Mater Mothers Hospital and Headspace Wesley Mission. Katina has experience working in the youth mental health sector and hospital social work. Her hospital experience included working in the Cardiac Special Care Unit and in the Young Women’s Clinic. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Work. Katina values client-empowerment, autonomy, empathy and compassion and practices from a person-centred approach. Outside of work Katina enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying physically active.
