Social Worker . Support Coordinator
Qualifications: Bachelor Social Work
Shannon is a first-year social work graduate at Rehability Australia, having completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Griffith University in July 2024. She recently completed her second university placement at Rehability and her first at Kingson East Neighbourhood Centre. With prior experience as an aged care and disability support worker, Shannon’s expertise includes one-on-one support with families and individuals. She also holds a Diploma of Community Services, where she gained experience in group facilitation and community development. Shannon is a member of the Australian Association of Social Work and is committed to practicing from a person-centred approach, valuing client autonomy, empathy, and compassion. She is dedicated to empowering her clients to achieve their goals while maintaining cultural respect. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and friends and staying physically active.
