Natalie brings over 12 years experience as a social worker. Natalie graduated from the University of Qld with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in Psychology in 2001. Natalie has completed further qualifications and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW). Natalie is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is a Medicare and DVA registered provider.
Natalie has clinical skills in the field of counselling particularly with relation to adjustment, grief and loss, sexuality and relationship changes post injury as well as practice/clinical skills in the area of Case Management. Natalie also has extensive experience in the field of crisis intervention and post trauma support including clinical practice in the areas of bereavement intervention, trauma, catastrophic injuries, child protection, domestic violence, sexual assault and homelessness. Natalie also has experience in the areas of aged care, physical disability and mental health. As a result of her experience, Natalie has an in-depth knowledge of community support services and resources.
